07:30–11:00 | Departure from Athens – Journey to Messene
Early departure by coach from Athens heading southwest toward the Peloponnese. The drive passes through changing landscapes of mountains, valleys, and rural Greece, gradually moving away from the urban environment and into one of the country’s most fertile regions.
11:00–13:30 | Arrival & visit to Ancient Messene
Arrival at the archaeological site of Ancient Messene, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Greece. Visitors explore the extensive ruins, including city walls, gates, public buildings, and athletic facilities. Walking through the site gives a strong sense of how a complete ancient city was planned and lived in, surrounded by the natural landscape of Messene.
