TERMS & CONDITIONS
THE COMPANY
This website is operated by Ilias Chrysikos & Co. E.E., with Tax ID 800355730, Athens Tax Office A, and Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) license number 0206Ε60000600801.
Priority Travel and Tourism acts as an intermediary for services (flight tickets, ferry tickets, hotel and car rental bookings, organized trips, cruises, conferences, etc.) offered by third-party suppliers of each tourism service. Customers should also review the General Terms of Business of each respective supplier.
DELAYS – CHANGES
In the event of short-notice changes to any service by the supplier selected by the user (e.g. delay or cancellation of a ferry route, change of vehicle type, etc.), we will attempt to contact the customer by phone or email to inform them accordingly, provided we receive timely notice from the supplier. We bear no responsibility whatsoever for rescheduling, delays, or cancellations of flights or other travel services and products caused by the supplier.
The customer is responsible for complying with the terms set by each supplier, such as the check-in requirements set by each airline. The customer will be informed of these terms by the relevant supplier.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Priority Travel and Tourism bears no responsibility whatsoever regarding travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) that the customer is required to hold in order to travel.
Securing the required travel documents is the sole responsibility of the passenger.
CANCELLATIONS – CHANGES
General
Service fees for changing or cancelling any service follow current market rates.
Commission paid at the time of purchasing a service is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If cancellation occurs due to the supplier’s fault, no cancellation fees or additional service costs will be charged.
The refund process from airlines typically takes 30–50 days.
Flight and Ferry Tickets
The ability to change or cancel a flight or ferry ticket, trip, or other product/service, as well as the terms governing such a change or cancellation, depend on the terms set by the respective supplier.
Any costs arising from changing or cancelling a travel service, as determined by the supplier’s terms, are borne solely by the customer.
If the supplier grants the customer the right to cancel or change the selected product, the customer must notify our office in writing of their wish to cancel or change.
Before any booking, the customer is required to read and agree to the applicable fare rules and restrictions.
If a customer purchases a round-trip or multi-leg ticket and wishes not to use the legs consecutively, they must contact our office to check whether this is possible, as each airline has a different policy in such cases. This means that if a passenger is marked as a “no-show” for the first leg, all remaining legs of the ticket may be cancelled. In some cases, use of the remaining ticket may be permitted for an additional fee.
Hotels – Organized Excursions
Regarding hotel bookings, there are two types of charges, which our associate will inform you about:
Non-refundable rate:
- In case of cancellation, the full amount is retained.
Refundable rate:
- Cancellation possible up to three days before arrival*
- A no-show is charged for the first night*
Customers should note that each hotel has its own payment and cancellation policy, which may differ from the above and about which the customer will be clearly and explicitly informed before making payment.
Organized Package Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy for organized packages is determined by the respective supplier/tour operator whose package is being resold by our office. Cancellations are only accepted if made in writing or by email to our company, and generally apply as follows:
- Up to 21 days before departure: no charge*
- 20–14 days before departure: 30% of the trip cost
- 13–8 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost
- 7 days or less before departure: up to 100% of the trip cost may be retained
*For special departures, promotions, departures during holiday periods, trade fair periods, or trips operated via charter flights or any other chartering arrangement, the above cancellation policy may vary and retained amounts may be higher.
Other Services Cancellation Policy
Each travel service supplier sets its own terms and payment/cancellation policy. We make every effort to clearly communicate these policies in advance to avoid misunderstandings, and customers should not make payment for any service for which they have not been clearly informed.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Priority Travel and Tourism bears no responsibility whatsoever for:
- Unavailability of any given service or product.
- Errors, omissions, breaches, or refusals by the respective supplier.
- Injury, death, property damage, or other losses that may arise from services provided by the respective supplier.
- Delays, cancellations, overbooking, strikes, or force majeure events beyond our direct control.
- The privacy policies of third-party websites linked from our site.
