ITINERARY

The tour will start in front of the prestigious Museum of Acropolis, symbolically on the onset of Athenian brilliance, during the Classical Period.You will head to Plaka, Athens’ old historical center, which hides unveiled secrets in its cosmopolitan and aristocratic alleys such as the Mpenizelos Mansion, the oldest house in Athens and a one of a kind example of Ottoman influence.After grasping the essence of the prestigious side of Athens, you’ll get the chance to discover other pieces of culture in its modern commercial center.A stop at the Church of Panagia Kapnikarea will give you a wider understanding of Byzantine and in general ecclesiastic significance in Greek spaces.On our way towards the Greek Parliament, our trusted local guide will enlighten you on Greece’s unexplored modern history, explaining the birth of the nation and its foundations.

The narration will be continued on our walk towards the business part of the center, home to numerous monumental buildings such as the infamous academic triptych in Panepistimiou Str., as well as the Old Parliament and its surrounding architectural alloy, designed by German urban planners.Towards the end of the walking tour you’ll stop to gaze at Kotzia Square, which combines both modern and ancient remains.Our tour will end in Omonoia Square, Athens’ certainly most chaotic but tought-provoking central spot.
