Departure from Athens
Your trip begins at 08:00 from Athens Train Station aboard our air-conditioned coach. Relax and take in the scenic beauty of the Greek countryside as your professional English-speaking driver makes the journey north to Kalabaka.
Arrival in Kalabaka & lunch break
Arriving around 12:45, your local tour leader welcomes you. A short stop for food follows, at a reserved spot under giant trees overlooking the majestic landscape. Lunch can be included in your package as an optional extra.
Guided Meteora tour — 4+ hours
See all six monasteries and step inside three of them. Learn about this unique geological phenomenon, the history of the monasteries and the life of the monks. Plenty of photo stops, plus secret viewpoints only locals know, and the Hermit Caves of Badovas.
Return to Athens
A brief stop in Kalabaka to prepare for the journey home. The bus departs at 18:00 and arrives in Athens around 22:45.
